Family Services The Family Services Division was developed through our recognition of the need for comprehensive family strengthening services within low-income housing developments in Palm Beach County. It is clear that bricks and mortar alone cannot provide effective supports to families struggling with the complex issues of poverty. All of our programs embrace a pro-active and holistic approach to the coordination and delivery of health, human, social and educational services with a focus on individual, family, and community responsibility. Through this design, a network of community development, human empowerment and social service providers work together with individuals, families, and the community to build capacity of the individual and of the community. The Family Services Division is built upon the belief that communities can be revitalized when success is realized in assisting residents to embrace pride in self and community as well as helping residents set and obtain realistic goals for themselves and their families.
